Rome – The Eternal City

After Naples, Lista Aperta proposes a visit to the Eternal City, the capital of our country. Three days and two nights between Saturday 2nd April and Monday 4th immersed in the cultural, artistic and culinary beauty of Rome. We advise you to bring comfortable shoes because there will be a lot of walking.

The trip is open to all students of architecture, design and engineering courses. We will leave early in the morning of April 2 by train from Milano Centrale station to arrive at 10am in Rome. We will be staying at Hotel Termini, a five-minute walk from the Termini station. 

After depositing our luggage, we’ll take a stroll through the Capitol, the Altar of the Fatherland, Piazza Venezia, Trajan’s Column and the Roman Forums. We will have lunch at the Trevi Fountain and then visit the Doria Pamphilj Gallery. For those who wish we will then take a walk to the Pantheon, San Luigi dei Francesi and Piazza Navona, where we will have dinner.

The next day we will walk to the Colosseum that we’ll visit in the morning, after lunch we’ll visit the Baths of Caracalla. Then passing in front of the Circo Massimo where you will have the possibility to go and discover the “Giardino degli aranci” and then have dinner in the area.

On the last day we’ll end on a high note by visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. After lunch it will be possible to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. For those who wish to visit, we will pass by Castel Sant’Angelo and head to the Pincio terrace to enjoy the view before returning to Termini Station to leave. Once we have retrieved our luggage, we will take the train back to Milan around 11pm.

The registration fee of €150 excludes meals, instead breakfast will be included. 

The initiative is open to 40 people, registration will open on the 2nd of March 2022 at noon
